With an undeniable sense of admiration and pride, we celebrate the RJUHSD graduates who are about to start a brilliant new chapter and pursue their greatest passions in life. Liz Lamora is chasing her dream of becoming a Broadway performer, while Joseth Martinez has achieved exceptional resilience in the wake of numerous hardships. As their paths take them down different roads, both students remind us that hard work and dedication pay off.

Ready to Take on the World

RJUHSD graduates have much to be proud of as they embark on the global stage, their hard work and dedication to their studies finally paying off. It is with a mix of bittersweet emotions that we bid farewell to those who are now ready to take on the world. But it is with immense pride that we watch them turn the page and start writing their newest chapter. These unique and individual stories will see the graduates scatter across the country in pursuit of their dreams and passions, which were nurtured and developed while learning at our schools.

Academic Achievements

Liz Lamora’s Academic Achievements:
-Graduate of Woodcreek High School in Roseville, California
-Accepted into The University of Oklahoma’s BFA Musical Theatre Program
-Dedicated high school to perfecting her craft as an actress, vocalist and dancer with the help of teachers and community theater

Liz Lamora, a graduate of Woodcreek High School in Roseville, California, is determined to become a Broadway performer. She has dedicated high school to perfecting her craft as an actress, vocalist and dancer with the help of teachers and community theater. Lamora’s dedication and hard work have proven to be successful as she has been accepted into The University of Oklahoma’s BFA Musical Theatre Program, a program known for cultivating musical talents.

Joseth Martinez: A Shining Example of Resilience and Determination

Joseth Martinez, a proud graduate of Oakmont High School, is a shining example of resilience and determination. Despite the tragedy of his father’s passing in 2019 and the disruption of the pandemic, Joseth was determined to succeed. His impressive academic performance saw him maintain a GPA of over 3.0 and take on additional responsibilities to support his family. His remarkable achievements show his steadfast commitment to success and his ability to overcome adversity. We commend Joseth’s decision to join the prestigious U.S. Marine Corps after his graduation.

Celebrating 31 Retirees from the District

The Roseville Joint Union High School District is immensely proud to celebrate 31 retirees from across the District who have dedicated their lives to the students. In particular, the District would like to express its sincere gratitude to Scott Braly, Andrewa Muller, Carole Pryor, Jeanne Sampson, Myron Stephens, Greg Strawn and John Welch for their outstanding commitment of 30 or more years of service. As these educators embark upon their own new chapter in life – Retirement – the District wishes them all the best as they begin this exciting journey.

The Class of 2021’s graduates at RJUHSD have accomplished much and are now setting out on individual paths leading to career successes and lives full of personal fulfillment. Despite varied challenges, these pioneering students looked within themselves to find the perseverance and drive to see their plans through to graduations. Whether its a passion for theater, or joining the bountiful barriers of being a Marine Corps, each of these profiles showcases a unique student with powered determination.
