Over four decades, Lisa has become an esteemed Librarian, touched countless lives, and become a beloved figure in the community. One of her most significant contributions is her role as a host of the library’s storytime sessions, where she ignites imaginations and sparks an early love of literature in the hearts of young children. Lisa’s journey, which began at the library as a young adult, has come full circle with her children, Abby and Alex, affectionately known as the ‘Ecklets,’ who now work and volunteer at the Roseville Library. Reflecting on the journey that brought her to this point, Lisa proudly takes ownership of her role as a Librarian and her part in inspiring a love for books and stories. She joyfully says, “I am grateful for all the opportunities I have been given over these past four decades to learn and grow. It is an incredible job, allowing me to be creative and playful while connecting with people of all ages. I truly enjoy it, and I look forward to continuing to develop my career and having lots of fun along the way!”
